Module 1: Safeguarding Fundamentals
- Understanding what abuse, vulnerability, and harm really mean.
- Exploring the different types of abuse: physical, emotional, sexual, financial, neglect, institutional, and discriminatory.
- An overview of safeguarding laws and principles, like the Care Act 2014 and the Children Act 2004.

Module 2: Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

Assessment
There will be external assessment for the SERU course at TFL centre however , internal assessment will carry out through practice questions carefully design and align with the possible real exam questions covering the following areas.
- Knowledge checks sprinkled throughout the course to reinforce learning.
- A final assessment, which may include a multiple-choice quiz and scenario-based questions, to ensure understanding and competency.
- A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon successful assessment.
