Level 3 Award in Electrotechnical Work in Dwellings Experienced Worker

TThis qualification is specifically tailored for individuals who already possess a relevant Level 2 electrotechnical qualification. Additionally, applicants need to have been actively working in the electrotechnical field as a domestic electrician for at least three years. It’s important to note that this three-year period does not include any time spent in education or training. Therefore, those who qualify must showcase their technical knowledge, skills, and competence according to recognised industry standards, with the goal of obtaining a formal, industry-recognized Level 3 qualification.
Exclusions and Assessment Process On the flip side, this qualification isn’t meant for newcomers to the electrotechnical industry, nor is it suitable for apprentices or those who still need training. It also excludes anyone who has completed an electrotechnical technical qualification but lacks three years of full-time relevant industry experience. Before enrolling, every learner must complete a ‘Skills Scan’ as a crucial part of the initial assessment.
Path to Gold Card Certification In the end, this qualification is a vital step towards meeting the requirements for the Domestic Electrician Experienced Worker Assessment (EWA). When paired with the separate AM2ED assessment, this entire process allows experienced workers to apply for an ECS Domestic Electrician Gold Card..
