  You will learn about the business side of the industry as well as a practical range of skills and procedures.

  In addition, this course aims to give you a key awareness of the social and economic environments in which travel and tourism play a critical role.

  Travel and tourism course overview

  Upon successful completion of the exam and practical assessments (as administered by Edexcel), you will have achieved an internationally recognised Edexcel IGCSE Travel and Tourism (4TRA) qualification.

  Course outline

  This course is divided into 2 units:

  Paper 1: Scenario based questions with short answers (60% of marks).

  Paper 2: Scenario based questions with short answers (40% of marks).

  Assessment

  The Edexcel IGCSE Travel and Tourism qualification is gained once the two exam papers are successfully completed. These exams are administered by Edexcel and assessment centre details will be included with your course, as well as practice papers so that you are more than prepared for your assessments.

  In addition, there will be a number of tutor marked assessments (TMAs) to ensure that you have a thorough understanding of the course materials, with the tutor sending comments to guide you through any areas of potential difficulty, as well as a range of self-assessments that are indicators that you understand the materials as you work through them. These are for your own information, and do not need to be shown to your course tutor.

  Paper BasedIf the course you have bought is paper based it will be despatched the next working day. You will receive a tracking email and a text with a 1 hour delivery slot.

  What do I do next?

  All the information you need to complete your course will be included in your study guide. Once you have your course be it online or paper based you will be good to go!
